When TIME Magazine picked out 50 best iPhone and Android apps of 2016 including Picniic, we were delighted, but how to portray emotions now? Miquido & Picniic got awarded by Webit Awards, the leading Digital and Innovation event for Europe!
As Webit Awards’ organizers said: „Most Innovative Mobile App is recognizing the mobile devices solutions that are changing the way client operates with new features, content, and accessibility (…) The Awards for the digital industry are the ultimate benchmark of true mastery in the digital transformation of business and society, top innovations in marketing and communications and the future of smart cities and technology”.
How innovative is it?
In simple words: Picniic is the next generation family organizer, a shared to-do list, calendar, shopping list, meal planner, family members locator and event manager integrated into an user-friendly tool available as the web, iOS, and Android app.
Moreover, users can assign tasks on the to-do list to specific family members and take a note of the last time a certain family member was heard from. Picniic offers some extras, including a newsfeed-style stream of updates and an encrypted storage locker for keeping personal family information.
What do we like about it the most?
Well, if you’re a busy parent, Picniic can significantly improve your family management. Like in a company, if you firm things up and set everyone in a proper direction, you’ll miss argues and unnecessary problems. Isn’t management should be all about – solving problems or rather avoiding them and keep people satisfied with things they do?
We are pleased to pay a contribution to this innovative project by giving it a UX/UI design, developing the Android app and desktop/tablet responsive website.
